I went and got a permanent retainer put on my top teeth this morning. Tatum got to come and sit on my lap. She was a very good helper to Dr. Craig. She put on rubber gloves, held the cotton, and even got to hold the UV light (and figured out how to turn it on all by herself). She was so cute she kept saying, "I dentist!"

Potty Girl

We've got a big girl on our hands. A few weeks ago Tate started asking if she could sit on the potty. She tired it out a few times with nothing happening, then one day she kicked me out of the bathroom. Go mama, go! So I went and grabbed the camera, and on the way back I heard a little tinkle!
She uses the potty 1 or 2 times a day now. Whenever I put her on she will pee, but she never tells me when she needs to go. So we're still in diapers for now. I think it's a good start. She's only 21 months.

Race for the Cure

My good friends Catherine, Alyssa, and Stephanie (+ Steph's mom) did the Race for the Cure this year. It was supposed to be 77 degrees that day, I was so excited for spring weather. It didn't get that warm, but it was still a beautiful day! There were soooo many many people there! We would get traffic jammed every once in a while, strolling for the cure I call it.
My arrow is pointing to the people traffic that went all the way up the hill. A zillion white t-shirts.

It was supposed to be 77 degree out!
Of course Tate did not want to sit in her seat the whole time. Not even half the time. And unfortunately she was wearing her fancy purple sparkled flip flops. She took off running at about mile 2 and totally ate it. She literally did a belly flop on the cement, then landed on her face. She got a bloody lip and then I had the carry her the rest of the way. It was so sad.

Poor little fat lip :( This was only about half as big as it got that night. I felt so bad for her, but she was a tough girl and only cried for a few minutes.
We had fun riding the Trax. Tate liked to hang from the bars on the ceiling like a monkey. Did I mention it was supposed to be 77 degrees that day?

Thanks for inviting us C & A! Love you guys!

Nelson's Grove Tulips

Forget $10 a pop at Thanksgiving Point, we had our own tulip festival for free at Nelson's Grove.

Warning: picture overload

Spring is here! Wait, isn't May supposed to start summer? All I know is it was snowing last week, and today it was sunny and 65 degrees!

I am in love with this picture

sweet little booger and oatmeal covered face :)

Fishy Earrings

I love this face!
I picked up a fun pack of earrings for Tate at Claire's,
brought them home,
she went nuts!

She decided to wear the fishies first, and then happily modeled them for me.
