Memorial Day

My friend Lindsi, from school, Ryan Greg and I went up in the mountains 4 wheeling and hiking on Monday. Id never been 4 wheeling before and it was so much fun! Also scary, especially going down hill, but we made it back safe and sound :-)

And they're off

Yesterday was the start of a 5 day survival trip for these three crazy guys. If anyone has ever watched Man vs Wild on the Discovery Channel, this is what inspired the whole thing. First it started out with them each only taking a knife, but as the weeks went on they decided they might need to bring a few other essentials.
They are going to build their own shelter and try to catch fish with their bare hands... they have to wait till tuesday to bring out the fishing poles :-)

While they are off having that adventure I am getting ready to go to girls camp, we leave on tuesday. Last night I went over to my friends blair and lindsi's and we had a little pampering night with blairs two sisters.

Moose sighting

On a loooooooooooooong hike up to Lake Blanche, we came across a huge moose! Greg got pretty close to it to take these pics. He's nuts!!

Gregs mission buddy Steve and his wife Erin just had their first little baby, she was born two weeks ago! I made her this blanket and have been begging G to take me to see her and i finally got to :-)

An attempted hike to Lake Blanche

Mirror Lake

I skipped school for the afternoon so we could take a trip to mirror lake. It is about an hour outside of Heber. It has beautiful scenery and I saw my first moose!!! (actually there were two, a baby and a mama) They ran across the road ahead of our car. I wasnt able to grab the camera in time. We caught two fish and ate one of them.

Weekend fun

Saturday after school and work we had date night. I took G out for froxen yogurt at the our new favorite place, maverik gas station... you wouldnt think it, but its delicious!!!
Then we went fishing up at deer creek in Heber with Tyler



I caught a foot long small mouth bass, this is not a very good picture, but it was beautiful!

Friday night we had a ward dinner at the park. We're finally getting to know everybody and had alot of fun. Greg and all the boys played ultimate frisbee and I chatted with some of the women folk about being married and keeping the house clean. This is us with some of our married friends :-)

I came home yesterday to some beautiful rainbow roses for being such a good wife :-)

New Hair, Again

I was getting really tired of my long hair so today while i was at school i decided to chop it!!!! Now its gone! I really like the cut, its not very exciting, same style just shorter, but its fun :-)



S and J you need to pick whick colors you want so i can order them for disneyworld!!!!
The colors are a little off because its through my ghetto camera, but the 3 i really like are the hot pink on the end, the royal blue and the dark purple.
