Sick Side

Tatum has had a pretty bad cough for the last few weeks.
After the 14 day virus run period the on call nurse finally told us to go in to the Doc.

This was the first time I had to take T into the

Yuck.

We love the well side.
The sick side just feels so ... sick.

A lot more crying
some kids passed out (or sleeping)

And then we had a little boy walk past us with
Huge Red Bumps
all over his face.

It gave me the chills, and I tried to cover Tatum up
so none of his air would come close.

Finally we got in to Dr. Arnold
(we love him!)
He checked her out and said there is no pneumonia,
ears look good.
Just a lot of drainage through her throat.

So we got some nose drops to try for a few days
Then a prescription if those don't work.

Nap time

Two little babies taking a nap = not alot of rest.

We're watching Tate's friend Chad this morning,
and he never seems to want to take his nap.
I dont know if it's because he isn't in his nice familiar bed,
or if he just likes to have a good cry before falling asleep.
Poor guy,
He's stinkin' cute though.

I guess I'm pretty lucky with little T
She takes her naps willingly

Unless theres a friend crying outside her door

7 Months! Whew!

Suprise MD Trip!

We found an awesome deal on a flight out to Maryland and booked it for the next day! Tate and I had a rough red eye flight but now that we're with our family its all worth it!

Busy Weekend

Our cute niece Natalie won some Flash tickets at school on friday and really wanted to go to the game, but her sister had a spelling bee, so she called up the old aunt and uncle to see if we could go. Of course we jumped at the opportunity to hang out with her! Im not a basketball fan, but it was a fun night. They had the Jazz bear and mini jazz bear, and the Buzz bee, and a fox... dont know what team he supported, and a mini fox, and some other more jolly bear. They did a dunk contest with the trampoline, lots of flips and splits and other aerial tricks.


We also had nachos, pizza, and dip in dots icecream there, awesome night! :)

Saturday was work. I got to do two complete makeover on some friends from my old branch. I love doing drastic hair color changes! Suzie has naturally blonde hair and has only ever put highlights in, which she says no one can ever even tell she's changed something. So we went dark! A pretty warm medium brown with a few peek-a-boo blondes through the bottom and sides. I LOVE it on her! She was worried because she has such fair skin that she would look washed out, so I made sure to use the warmest brown I could get without looking red, and it looks AWESOME!
Amanda wanted to go red. Always tricky, but it also look really good. She put some blonde pannels through her bangs for a little pop and it all turned out really well! I should have taken pictures of the hotties, but I didnt have my camera.

* tatum just rolled, yay! *

Sunday we went to sacrament then up to SF to see my cousin T get the priesthood. My little cousin is already 12! I can't believe it! He's practically a full grown man!
Later my friends Bethany and Kelly from the salon came over to watch the Oscars. I was so happy Sandra Bullock won Best Actress, I didn't think she would, but I was really glad she did. I love all her movies. I havnt seen The Blind Side yet, it looks so good though.

Now that brings us to today. Tate has a cold, and a really bad cough, poor baby. We really cant wait for it to be summer around here.

I like to pretend it is when we're inside all day, I put us in our shorts and onesies and crocs and we drink pineapple star fruit juice(very summery).

T gets to go over to play with Charlie on Wednesdays when I got to work, and Charlie comes over to our house on Mondays while his mommy is in school. Tate absolutly LOVES when he is over here. She will sit and watch him run around our rocking chair for an hour with a big grin on her face.
I was doing a bit of blogging the other day and looked down to see them holding hands, it was too cute!

6 Months

She is such a smiley happy girl. She loves sweet potatoes and carrots. She can pick up anything, and bring it to her little mouth. She loves to read books. She loves to talk on speaker phone, well listen and grin at the voices. She loves to play with little kids.

Sunny Snuggle

After a long morning of driving, waiting in line for our tastey burger at Hodads, and playing in the grass with crazy beach people (girl playing volleyball really shouldnt have been wearing a 2 piece, eek!) this little girl zonked out in her mama's arms. And I loved every second of it. I wrapped her up in my sweater and felt her snuggle in. I love snuggely moments. They few and far between.
