Happy Birthday Baby T

This sweet little girl is 1 today!

Sometimes I can't believe that she has been here in my life, that I have been a mother for 365 days! Other times it feels like she's just always been here.
It is crazy to think of how tiny she was just a year ago. She is such a big girl now!
She loves to laugh and run and play. She is very curious and gets into just about everything now. Its so fun to see her grow, and I love that she interacts with me more. We can actually play, and she likes to sing songs and do her little popcorn popping hands.
She is more cuddly now too, which is so sweet. As long as she has a soft blanket or a stuffed animal :)

Its a rainy birthday today. We spent the morning eating birthday waffles, taking a birthday bath, playing in Mimi's room, and taking pictures of everything for Dad.
We are all making the trip up to the airport to pick Jenna up from her Belgium trip. Tatum gets to sit in a front facing car seat and watch a baby movie on the way up! She is so excited to sit forward facing :) We are also going to the bakery to get a cupcake, and will open the presents she received in the mail from all her wonderful grandparents.

Im so lucky to have this amazing spunky little girl in my family.
I love her so so much!

Eleven Months

I suppose i should post her 11 month pics before she turns 1 next week!!









Tatum has enjoyed spending her 11th month in Maryland:
running, jumping, saying mama and hi, and eating mostly big people food
(she takes one bottle in the morning and one for bed time)

She got to go to the national zoo in D.C. and LOVED looking at the turtles
She swam in the Chesapeake Bay
And dug her toes in the sand

She learned how to rock her baby,
mastered walking in the sloped backyard,
and discovered how to put things in a bucket, take them out, then put them in again.

She also loves to play on the various instruments around the house.
Tinking the piano keys,
Tooting the recorder,
And strumming the guitar.
