Sam Harrison
Sam Harrison was one of Greg's mission companions in Paraguay. This past week we learned that Sam was involved in a horrible accident and broke his neck. They have created a website, www.donateforsam.org, to give updates about his recovery and how he is doing. We hope that he recovers quickly and that miracles will happen. Our faith and prayers are with the Harrison family at this time!

P.S. I love You
Last night we went to the late showing of P.S. I Love You at the dollar theater.... it was the saddest movie i've ever seen!!! I loved it! I have never cried so hard in a movie though!
Greg probably didn't enjoy it as much as me, its definitely a girl movie. When we were driving home he said it wasn't fair to make movies like this, because now when a guy dies he has to much to live up to to be romantic. I told him that he was not allowed to die before me, so he didn't have to worry about it!
Scrap Booking
So my new job is going well. I have met all of the other girls that I'll be working with and I think we'll all get along really well. There are 6 of us working there, and one of them actually went to school with me and just started about a week before I did.
One of my favorite sushi restaurants is right across the street from our shop, and they do take out! So I'll probably run over and grab a roll for lunch some days :-)
The only problem is one of the girls has really cute short hair, and it makes me want to cut mine even shorter! (This is really only a problem for Greg, I know he wishes my hair were long again!)
Tonight we had a scrap booking night for my ward and another combined! We made these cute pages and card. Now I just need to take some cute pictures of me and Greg to put in the pages. I tried to take some on Valentines Day but they turned out not cute.

This morning my new boss Shayla called and gave me my work schedule for next week!
Mon 1-8
Tues 9-5
Wed Off
Thurs 1-8
Fri 9-5
Sat 10-6
I am so glad to be able to get out of this apartment! I've been on a 25 day vacation and its driving me nuts!! I dont think Ive ever really worked a full 40 hour week before. Even when I was full time at any job I'd always work about 35, unless you count my year of school which I went 40 almost the whole year.
Im no nervous! People are actually going to expect me to know what Im doing! I just hope I have some nice girls to work with. Shayla sounds very nice over the phone :-) Maybe there will be some single ones so I can finally get Derek married!

Book Review.
I have had alot of time on my hands these last couple of weeks, and have gone to the library about4 times. I like to read, but i have a hard time finding books that I relly like. Before Christmas I was at Barnes and Nobel and saw this book, The Nazi Officers Wife, I asked for it for christmas but didnt get it. Then I found it at our library! Its about a Jewish women who lived in Austria during WW2. She went through alot of suffering before a nazi man fell in love with her and married her.
It was very interesting.

Our 3rd V-Day
Happy Valentines Day!
I made G some heart bagels for breakfast, and he got me this cute shears charm :-)
We took my gradation gift card (thanks mama!) and had lunch at Chilis. Then G went to school and I decorated the whole apartment with 300 paper red pink and purple hearts I cut out... it took me over two hours! It looked really cute though :-)

New Apartment
Things I like about our new apartment:
We have a covered parking spot
We have more storage room
We have more yoga room
We dont have to make a left turn onto busy state street anymore
We are close enough to UVU to walk
We have electric wires running through the ceiling that heat the house instead of air... good because we got rid of one bill (gas)
also we dont hear our neighbors (no vents)
Things I do not like about our new apartment:
The bathtub faucet leaks
It also has such high pressure its like chinese water torture
And runs out of hot water after only one QUICK shower, Ill never be able to shave my legs!
We dont have a dishwasher
We have drapes instead of blinds
The kitchen floor is a lovely yellow linolium

Graduation!
This has been a crazy week! We moved apartments last weekend, just down a few streets to another 2 bedroom, but this one is bigger. Big enough to do yoga in the living room without hitting the couch and the fan and the entertainment center.
One of the bedrooms is very large also, probably the same size as the living room, and we decided to make the smaller one our bedroom and the larger a storage/computer/yoga room! I can fit 3 people doing yoga in the yoga room if I wanted!
The only down side is that there is no dishwasher! I despise washing dishes more then any other chore, and now it'll all be done by hand. I guess thats what i get for letting G pick an apartment without having me even see it until we move in! (Just kidding, he did a good job :-)
We're still unpacking, even though it seems like we've been doing nothing but unpack since we moved in. When did we accumulate so much stuff?!
I graduated on Wednesday!! Finally! My last day I scheduled the whole morning for Ashley to do my hair, and then G came in to get a haircut, and at 4 I had my final customer. Barbara.
It was really weird waking up the next morning and not having anything to do. I set my alarm at 9 so I wouldnt be a bum all day, but I ended up waking up at 7:40 and couldnt stay asleep.
Ive been giving out my resume to every salon I see, but it dosnt seem like anyone is hiring, or the ones that are are set up as booth rent which means I pay them $$$ every month to work in their salon and I get to keep all of my revenu. Only problem is that $$$ is usually around $500 a month. And my clientel consists of 3 people right now, so unless their hair grows reeeaally fast...
Anyways, here are some pictures of my last day as a student for the rest of my life...
Shandi got me a yummy cake
Me Debbie and Ash
And the beautiful tulips G sent me with baloons :-)
My favorite flower
